It is generally not recommended that the clamp be clamped horizontally at the capacitor port, because this will change the direction of the capacitor field strength, or reduce the electrode distance. Therefore, the correct method is as shown in the figure, the longitudinal conduction, the output and input lines will be as far away from the capacitor plate as possible.

In general, in which direction the wire is tilted, this direction is the breakdown point. That's because the wires are directing the field around here. It's centered vertically. That's the way to do it. Otherwise, the results of the test do not represent the most realistic results.
